Hi,

My application supports data collection in a manufacturing environment and, by using CommTools and JSPayne, it can communicate with a few dozen hardware types (probes, calipers, scales, etc.). Currently, I only have 1 hardware type communicating with my application at a time. I'd like to beef up the app to be able to have several hardware types active at once.

Is there a tool I can use that can see which device is sending data? My app will already know the active ports (com1, com2, com3, etc.) so all I need to do is figure out which port is receiving data, then parse out the string accordingly and display the data on screen.

If you have any ideas, please pass them along.

Thank you,

Joe
