I am in the process of rewriting an application into VFP, but my client is still running in DOS. Today, they complained that certain applications seemed to be hanging up. Using traces I isolated it down to selecting a work area (either new or for a table already opened) after setting a relation from a table to more than one other table. The system just hangs, with NTVDM.EXE using all the cpu time. I tried under the windows version and had the same results, only FOXPROX.EXE was using all of the cpu time. This was first noticed yesterday. I am fairly sure that all of the computers were updated and rebooted during the night before yesterday with updates from microsoft for XP. I am probably a month or more away from completing my rewrite so I am somewhat frantic to find a solution to this! Has anyone else encountered this? Is there any hope for a solution?
