Here are some reasons:

First and most importantly - It's impact it has had on me personally. I can tell you that - without fail - the things written inscripture have been proven in my life and I can see that living a life in accordance with the Bible leads to a life of joy and fulfillment

2. The testimony of other people and the impact the Bible has had in their lives.

3. You (nor anyone else) can or will be able to show errors/contradictions in the Bible (to be precise here - I'm referring to the original manuscripts. There are errors in translation that have been carried through over the years - none of which are substantial or have an impact on the theology of the Bible.) Many have tried in this thread. Each time I offer an explanation, the topic gets diverted. I'd like you - or anyone - to answer those explanations if you can.

4. The Bible was written by 40 men in over 1,600 years - yet - it reads like one book and its consistant message is very clear and unified.

5. The Bible has been proven to be historically accurate.

6. There are an enourmous amount of prophecies in the Bible that have been fulfilled.

7. It's indestrucibility. Although many efforts have been made to destroy it - it still is the most popluar book of all time.

8. It contains medical and scientific information - before its time.

9. It claims to be from God. It's not just a man presenting what he thinks God would say.

10. It is based on historical evidences that can be verified - not on one man's journey or one man's interpretation of life.
