>>>I didn't call you ignorant or incapable of rational thought or arrogant either. I think many of you are very deep thinkers and most of you do not come across as being arrogant. Misguided, sinful and relegated to Hell - again, if you do not trust in Christ's work on the cross - then - yes you're all those things (as it relates to your spirituality.) If that upsets you - well - frankly it's meant to cause you to think about your beliefs and why you to believe the way you do.

>>There you go on about "Christ's work on the cross " again. I don't want to sound blasphemous but what work was he doing? ... carpentry? I'm more impressed by His work during his lifetime.

>His work on the cross is what allows you and I to have peace with God. Basically, His death was a sacrifice that satisfied God's demand that sin be paid for by death. His resurrection signified that God accepted the sacrifice and that we can now have peace with God through Christ (and his work on the cross.) Those that trust in His work on the cross alone are at peace with God and will live eternally with Him - those who do not will live eternally separated from Him in Hell.

There goes Yahweh with his demand for death again. You know, I've never quite understood how JC's death on a cross expunged our sins, now I know - His dad wanted death. But as for "work", you've answered that His work on the cross was His work on the cross. Personally, I can't see how He got much work done, what with His hands bound and concentrating just on being able to breathe.

Again, I place my trust in His work up to the age of 32.
