>After a zillion phone calls and a few months of complaining, SprintPCS is going to replace my pocketpc/cellphone with a brand new device - in a 3 way call with a customer service rep top management person and a store manager it's been worked out so all I have to do is go to the store & they'll hand me a new device. I'm going to go pick it up Saturday morning .... I'll let ya all know if that one works properly....geeeze.
Mine was shipped to me a few days ago. I'm still learning how it works. There is one thing that worked once and now isn't working. I sent one email using my old netcom/earthlink account. Now when I try to send an email (several times from different locations), it says that my email has "invalid recipients" and puts it back in my Drafts folder. The addresses in To: and cc: look fine. Soft reset didn't help. Nor did it help to delete and recreate my account. Tonight I'll try installing the upgrade application from
www.sprintpcs.com and see if that helps. Eventually I may ask about it on the palm/pocketpc forum which I have just joined, after RTFM some more.
