>Hi,
>I am in a predicament that needs help. I have a result set of a cursor that is fetched from joined multi-tables in SQL Server. I assigned two different aliases for the cursor and display records on two different grids. Using the command "CUSORSETPROP", I set properties for "TABLES", "KEYFieldList",
>"UpdatableFieldList", "UpdateNameList", "SendUPdates” and "Buffering" is set to 3.
>After changing information is in a field for one of alias, I check on the modification status using “GETFLDSTATE”, it returns “2” for the field. However, when I modified the same field that is in the other alias, it returns “1” for the field and the cursor is updated automatically without processing the command, “TableUpdate”. I am not sure why the aliases from the same cursor are behaving differently. If anyone has any advice for the problem, I will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Why do you think that cursors're identical?
