I actually consider this an issue that deserves some serious thought (although it is not, of course, of the greatest urgency...).
Not that dinosaurs necessarily had intellects (or souls) like humans, but somewhere in the wide Universe there are bound to be creatures that do. So, what is God's plan for them? What sort of guidance does He give them? I find it very likely that just as He sent us Jesus Christ to guide mankind (and, according to Bahá'í belief, several other divine Messengers as well), He can just as well have sent Messengers to guide other, non-human, civilizations.
