In the hey-day of the city-wide "Caravan" I used to help out at the Sydney-Auckland Pavilion (aka the Tranzac Club) on Brunswick near Bloor.

One day, when me and another guy were "in charge" of the sheep (a sheep shearing demonstration was part of the show) one got away.

It went up the alleyway, up to Bloor, crossed Bloor and well up another street.
Luckily, a guy walking his Sheltie (or whatever it was) was there and he unleashed his dog and the dog immediately got control of the sheep.

We got her back to the pens but didn't live it down for about 3 years.
