Not to mention the use of singular: sheep instead of sheeps or fish instead of fishes.
Then there's the use of "troops", as in "over 1000 troops killed in action". In spanish "troop" translates to "tropa", which is a collective noun, used to refer to a GROUP of soldiers, so whenever I read headlines like the above, my brain starts off with a very very very ugly picture.
