I see, Nadya ... it's a good idea, I've even run into "Shutting down Windows from inside VFP app" while trying to find an answer around here.

One little question, if you don't mind ... is there a way to know if the app shutdown was caused by Windows shutdown ?

>I see the problem. Well, if it doesn't want to behave, you can force it. In other words, if it's easy to determine, that application closing was caused by Windows Shutdown, you can close Windows yourself. The code should be here in API section.
