I am not finding the program. I unzipped the file in the \vfp9\tools\xsource directory but can't find a program to run.

Tamar's suggestion didn't work, either. I am starting to go Grrrr. I am running the last version of FoxPro and it has to throw an error message every time I start it?

Mike

>You could always run the taskpane in debug mode and see what the line is that is blowing it up. The entire source for the taskpane.app project is provided in XSource that comes with VFP 9 (look in the tools directory if you're not familiar with it). As far as the error, given that it is an OLE error, I would say that your problem has something to do with the Webbrowser control, which is (if I remember right) the only OLE control on the taskpane.scx.

I tried renaming it back -- no joy. I tried repairing the VFP 9 install -- no joy. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling -- no joy. Still the same error every time I start VFP 9. I can close the Task Pane window and continue the VFP session without incident. But it's an annoyance. A clean environment is a clean canvas, right?
