According to 2 Timothy 3:16 all scripture is inspired by God. Paul was instructing Timothy in 1 on church administration, ministry, and discipline and in 2 on being strong in the face of opposition and persecution. Inspiration of scripture is only mentioned once in the new testament and not at all in the Gospels. Jesus does not speak of inspiration with the scriptures either. The Pastoral Epistles come from the two letters written by Paul to Timothy (and the one to Titus). Many current preachers could today claim their words are also inspired by God. The bible may be inspired by God, but it was written by men.

>>I repeat: - God's never written down word one. Whoever wrote that was writing maybe a consensus of pious men who decided they didn't like pufters. Even if you believe that God wrote the 10 commandments, with laser beams from the sky, "Thou shalt not bite pillows" isn't one of them.

>Well I guess you choose to not believe the Bible is the "inspired" word of God. I believe it is.
