I did this in version 8 and have not updated the report for version 9 yet. You can do this if you create one table to use in the report and use the print when condition to display the 2 detail sections. Create a field for the detail section such as detsect. For detail records that get printed in the first detail section put the value 1 in the detsect field of the record and for records that get printed in the 2nd detail section put a 2 in the detsect field and then on the report field use the print when and enter a condition of detsect = 1, and etc. You will probably have to setup the first section and then create the 2nd section and overlay them. Also remove line if blank.
