Thanks for the help with the grid population problem. Thought you might have some thoughts about the activatecell method. When the form containing the grid object receives the focus, I call the activatecell method from the gotfocus method and then refresh the grid, but the active cell always defaults to row 1, column 1. Is there a foolproof way to make sure that the cursor ends up in a different row, cell?
