I will again endorse DynaZip, as I have before.

If you really want to use WinZip from a command the way ol' PKZip was used, you can find the command line parameters documented somewhere on www.winzip.com

These parameters are kind of like a subset of PKZip parameters. Some important functions are missing. You may not be able to span diskettes, for instance. Make sure you have the latest version of WinZip. I would not trust anything earlier than 6.2 for this. Even with 6.3, the limitations of the available parameters, and the crude method of using the RUN command from vfp, are what persuaded me to go with DynaZip.

By the way, the last I heard, PKZip for Windows had NO command line parameters.
