I love the new capabilities of the report designer with the multiple detail bands, but I can't seem to figure out how to count items from detail#2 band and have it show the correct total in the summary band. My count field gets incremented everytime the pointer moves in detail#1 band. So my sum fields are way too high? This must be a simple thing to do, but I can't seem to make it work. I've looked at several examples of printing using detail bands on the internet, but none of them sum a detail band item at the bottom of the report. My example - I have user names in detail#1 and appointments in detail#2. User #1 prints and all appointments for User #1 prints under User #1. User #2 then prints and all appointments for User #2 prints under User #2, etc. I need to show the total number of appointments for all users at the bottom of the report in the summary band. Any help would be great!
Jim Colombo.
