>PS: Given that the product still has some rough edges and that the developer has a good history of releasing bug fixes and enhancements, I chose to purchase the product with a 1 year support subscription. I am happy with this decision. If you're going to commit to the product, I strongly recommend this purchase plan over the lower cost 30 day support plan.

Hi Malcolm

Thanks for the reply back. I have downloaded the examples and am trying them out. I also did read the Advisor article and view the screenshow. It is no doubt a very nice and slick product.

My concern with this product however is this: surely MS will enhance VFP9 to have a menu and toolbar system comparable to the other MS product lines. Is this so complex that it would not be warranted? If one purchases this product, which is not really expensive btw, invests the time and effort to implement it and then a SP for VFP comes out which handles this natively then it would be a bit of a waste of effort.

If MS state that they will not be enhancing this aspect of VFP then this is a no-brainer decision. Perhaps KenL can offer a pointer here?
