Well I have seen people (in the U.S.) wearing side-arms in restaurants and such, and they seemed to grow in numbers the further south I got.

But I think the real issue is that laws AGAINST guns, especially revolvers, make them far less obtainable in the first place. We don't have "guns shows" here, nor flea markets where all manner of weapons are sold.

I once saw statistics (yes, they can lie) that, if memory serves, said that there were more gun deaths in the U.S. annually than all other first-world countries combined.


>See this is where I think there are some misconceptions about America. I personally do not know one person who carries a gun. I only know one that owns any, and that is for hunting. And I'm in the South! As a whole, we are probably a bit more crass compared to other developed countries, but the whole cowboy thing is blown way out of proportion.
