Anyone have any ideas why I should get an error code 1105 ("Error writing to file") when running the command 'LOCATE'. The file is filtered with SET FILTER. This has happened twice on different files on different days at one client's site. The software is installed at about 6 clients and the particular lines of code in question are hit about every couple of minutes at each site, apparently without problems elsewhere or at other times on the same machine.
This is just one of a set of bizarre errors the particular client has in their error log (e.g. 'variable not found' when the variable is declared 2 lines higher up in the method) - I suspect they have a hardware problem and that either my .exe or the Fox run-time is being corrupted in memory, but they remain unconvinced.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
(The most bizarre error they have had relates to a file which I ALWAYS open with the alias 'sharx'. The error message from AERRORS() showed 'Alias "shary" is not found'. I never use that alias.)
