I've had this problem with my grids.
The only way I found to solve it was to create a method in my form that would return the value in the format I wanted, and then, in the Column.ControlSource , I used Thisform.MyMethod() .

The textbox is expected to translate the value into Swedish kronor (SEK). It works Ok when not using the textbox in grids.
