The error is "Memo file d:\mydir\mytable is missing or is invalid"
I just typed it and I think I know the answer. My tables are FREE tables, they don't have the database. Could this be what causes the problem. And also, to answer your question, I was getting the same error whether I would USE table before or let SQL Select open tables.
