Thank you for the changes to my program which works very well.

I am still trying to get my head around the stuff with the 'create cursor' and 'insert into'. I don't quite understand how the report program knows how to assign the page numbers as part of the textmerge. Whilst I have been programming in VFP since the days of Fox for DOS I haven't used a lot of the new recent improvements.

When processing a large number of records, I guess that the program calls the create cursor each time. Anyway, its time for bed - I will sleep on it.
