I have a String search function, It searches more than 4 million Records.
>It takes more than 1 to 2 minutes to make the String search.

Try this.
Put this code before SELECT
SET NOTIFY ON
SET TALK ON
DEFINE WINDOW dummy FROM 0,0 SIZE 1,1
SET TALK WINDOW dummy
and this after SELECT
RELEASE WINDOW dummy
SET NOTIFY OFF
SET TALK OFF
