You are not clear on what you need. If you want to load Excel as if from Windows Explorer, the Yuri gave you the syntax for API ShellExecute().

If you mean getting a reference to Excel as an object in your App (COM Automation), then use:
oExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
Now you have a full access to Excel's DOM.
