Sean,

I think that you have a wrong concept of AlwaysOnTop. It does not mean that other windows will never be able to be on top again. Think of the situation that five windows have AlwaysOnTop set to True. How do you think they will behave? It rather indicates how you want the form positioned on initialization. Please, try it.

>I have a problem where when I call a modeless form from another modeless form, the called form is drawn behind the calling form.

>I realise I can simply make the called form .allwaysontop or modal, but I really don't want to do eith of those things. Is there some some command or property that controls the Z depth of forms that I don't see, or is there some way to send a form to the front of the viewing plane? I also experimented with changing the form's parent, but nothing will make it show up in front of the calling form.

>I should also point out that if you actually move the calling form, and click on the called form, it will show over the calling form, but the people using the program won't know that form just popped up, so that doesn't really matter, but I just thought you might need to know that I don't have the calling form set to be always on top or something goofy like that.
