Well, I have a VFP app in a local network without SQL server, and there are only two tables I need in another location. I don't want to modify the original application, so I can't permanently export this two DBF to SQL server. The simplest idea was using MSDE and linked server and then write a small app to access this two tables via internet.

:( NO! I only tested the SELECT ... statements, so it's unusable for my solution.
Is linked server only possible with OLE DB Provider?
