hi guys,

i am experimenting with setting up a super simple web service on our public web site that is running Windows 2003 server. i am NOT able to install VFP 9 on that server. all i am trying to do is to have the calling script pass the date and have the web service return the day of the week - Monday, Tuesday, etc... however there are all kinds of issues - exectables, permission problems etc that i am facing. what i thought would be easy is now much more daunting. can anyone point me to a reference or book that lists the steps in plain english for a newbie vfp programmer like me :)
