Hi Jess,

Thanks for your suggestion, but if I get it right this cannot be used through VFP's visual tools and of-course not in a form's Data Environment.
What I'm looking for is whether or not there is a way to convert a remote view into an off-line view and turn it back to normal at a given time.

Thanks,

Marios

While it is true that the source SQL View can be manipulated as if data is already there residing, but you can not change its contents via REQUERY() function without dropping the Offline View first via DROPOFFLINE view. However, Offline Views can be manipulated using USE command with the ONLINE/ADMIN options to update the source file (table, not the source view) if needed.
