I have to update the properties after the table updates and poll the database for possible updated values in the page's activate event. The tables shouldn't be opened in the default datasession either as all forms have private datasessions

I asked about the data session, because Visual MaxFrame2 automatically opens all tables in the default datasession to save time later. Unfortunately, we ran into caching problems and had to disable this function - AFTER we finally figured out the problem.
