I have not been in Sanford, Florida for 44 years. I bet it has changed “a little”! :)

Do you have a local VFP users group? Perhaps you could get the name of someone from such a group who is qualified to assist you. How about using a framework? That could also be a solution. You would have advantages with a framework that allows n tier development.

1. Documentation.
2. The vendor resolves issues with framework anomalies.
3. The vendor updates the framework and makes it available to users.
4. Vendor frameworks have forums on the Internet where you can ask and answer questions of users. Often the creators of frameworks will answer questions and give advice.

>We're a small shop with 4 developers. We need some training in n-tier development. (We have a general concept but not a working knowledge of how the pieces all fit.) We also could use advice in regards to moving our current system (built on an in-house framework) towards an n-tier system.
