>We have used SQL pass-through with some success in VFP 5.0a, and are about to start a major project with the same techniques. In particular, we want to execute on the server a number of stored procedures written in TRANSACT-SQL with paramaters passed from VFP. Is there any substantial change in VFP 6.0 which would make this approach unwise or sub-optimal?

We are using SQL pass-through quite a bit in a VFP 5.0 project as well. I have started preliminary testing in 6.0 and have not had any problems yet. It is my understanding that there were no major changes in this area.
