That article only applies to VFP pre-8 when you sign an EXE with a security certificate (issued by a CA).

Sorry I have not followed the whole long thread: Have you signed the EXE?

If you have, then create a new exe and don't sign it.
If you need to sign it, then there's another good excuse to upgrade to VFP 9.0.
If you have not signed it, then that article does not apply to you.
