In order for grid to refresh according to the header, you have to set up linkmaster, relationalexpr, recordsource and childorder.

My advice for you is to pick up a book on VFP. It is faster to learn from a book. Post here when you encounter a problem. People here are helpful and you can get your answer most of the time.
