MS Access is an end-user tool, delivered with MS-Office. It has a good enough language behind (VBA) for advanced users to do some coding. VFP is an object-oriented data-based language. In so many ways it is so much more porwerful than Access but that comes at the cost of more complexity and a learning curve, especially for someone not coming fro mXBase labguages and not having OOP experience.

Whatever questions or concrete problems you have, just ask away.

There is also a good source of VFP books, if you have not seen them at http://www.hentzenwerke.com
There is also an excellent repository of information at our Fox Wiki at http://fox.wikis.com
