When I ran the SET("Printer", 3) both VFP 6.0 and VFP 9.0 display "DOCUCOM PDF DRIVER" but if I changed the REPORT FROM comment and show printer promp the VFP 6.0 hightlight the DocuCOM PDF Driver and VFP 9.0 hightlight my default printer HP Laser Jet 4000 Series PCL and report goes to printer instead the PDF file. Any ideas?

Are you sure the problem is with "SET PRINTER TO NAME"? Check if printer has been changed with

>SET PRINTER TO NAME "DocuCom PDF Driver"
>? SET("Printer", 3)

Make sure that Printer Environment on the Report menu is unchecked for you report in the Report Designer. This way a printer related info will not be saved with your report.
