I have a file called "WinBM.dll". It is a really text file I created
and named with a DLL extension. I placed it in the Windows/System32 folder.
The user may stumble across it, but it will look like a system component, not
a text file. I named it with a DLL extension to prevent the user from dblclicking
it and opening it. I have also encrypted it, so if someone does open it, its binary.
The file contains:
[application]
product=winbm
demo=0
Installed=01/01/05
Expire=06/30/05
RegKey=NLA7I-D38PZ-BO331-J9WWG-89B8I
Serial=651428
Then all your application has to do is decrypt it on startup and
read it as an INI file.
