I have some retired grandparents that live in Phoenix, AZ - they live in one of those giant 'over 55' communites...where they have a zillion houses and such, but ya gotta be over 55 to live in the sub-division. There is a standing joke there about this. They actually charter a couple of busses once a month that takes a bunch of the homeowners down to Mexcio once a month. The residents out there call it the 'monthly drug run trip'. Most of the people who take the 1 day trip do so in order to fill their high-dollar rip-off perscriptions in Mexico. Heck my grandma takes a few pills a day and if she was paying full price it would be over $2800 PER MONTH!

I know. It really is insane. I had a real good chuckle when Dubya said that you shouldn't buy prescription drugs from Canada because they might not be safe. Remember which North American country did NOT sanction the use of Thalidomide?
