I moved an application up from V7 without any problems with the forms; however, I had some tables that would not open (some had memos, some not). VFP9 has a stricter requirement for files to check for validity. My tables were failing the test. To fix them I had to move the contents from the file to a flat-file (in VFP7) and then create new tables in VFP9 and read in the flat-files. It was ugly, but it worked. You might try something like this for a screen (form - scx).
