It would go a long way to improve our perception of them (the muslims) if the moderates in this country would speak out more fervently against the extremists in their religion.
I can understand why the more moderate in places like Iran and Saudi Arabia can't say anything, they'll get their tongue cut out or worse. But I can't understand why the muslim who live here and enjoy the freedom they have won't/can't say anything about it. Are they also scared to say anything critical about the islamic fascists?
