Hi Al,

The EXE and data are both on the Windows 2000 computer. The XP computer has neither a local EXE on it or the data; it only has the VFP runtime on it. The XP computer runs the EXE located on the Windows 2000 computer and accesses the data also on the Win 2000 machine. But why would this cause the XP system to slow to a crawl when it is running the app?
