It has nothing to do with Windows. Problem is you are using a non-standard font. Use Times New Roman (the original one, provided by Windows) instead, not any "ro" custom modified stuff, and make sure you check the "Use Font Script" checkbox for each object placed in the report. Then select Times New Roman font and make sure you select "Central European" in Font Dialog, Script combobox.
