To All
I have posted this problem under another title ( Demo Files ) and there have been a couple of suggestions which I have tried and have been unsuccessful with. This is a very confusing issue for me and if anyone has had success with this particular situation, I would appreciate your solution. In short, I have created a project and compiled it to an execuatble file in VFP 8.0 SP1. The project is fairly simple and contains nothing unusual, mostly forms using grids. The .exe works fine on the development computer which is not surprising to me, even when installed on another physical drive. When I try to run it on the client computer it will not run. I have tried including all of the runtime files (vfpr???.dll) as suggested and the msvc??? as suggested. I also created a setup using Installshield as suggested and included all of the files that I could find listed by Microsoft as being required. Obviously there is something that I have missed. The error message generated is confusing, "Visual Foxpro cannot start, could not load resources." I recompiled the same project using VFP 6.0 and installed it on the same computer and it runs fine. I would really like to continue to use VFP 8.0, but this is a frustrating problem. I have tried to research on the MS website but I just get pointed in circles eventually ending up where I began. Any ideas or questions would be greatly appreciated. As always, thanks in advance to those who take the time to read this and think about it.

Regards,
Carmen
