I have a CR 11 report and CR 7 report open at the same time and try to copy an object, such as a Text Object in a Page Heading from CR 11 to CR 7 and I get an error in the Seagate Crystal Reports 7 error message window...

No matter what I try to Copy and Paste from CR 11 report to CR 7 report I seem to get this error. I guess because you cannot do it. I guess they are totally incompatible.

If I cannot do this, this means I have to recreate the 10 to 12 reports that I created in CR 11 from scratch in CR 7. Is this true? Has anyone ever tried going backwards?

Of course, the CR 11 report would not open in CR 7, but I had to try it and see what happened. Of course, it gave me a Version Error.
