Thanks - they wish - I was looking at some old emails - someone who worked at MS during VFP 6 sent me a confidential, on the "QT". The word was that VFP 6 was supposed to be the VFP killer - last of MS xBase. When smart people are wrong and continue to persist in mis-reading the market - or mis-directing the market because of some double-secret benefit to a bottom line it gets wacky. You'd think MS insiders would know once the product line is "narrowed" they will be out of a job. It's not so much about sales as it is cost - MS just wants to layoff a bunch of engineers - that's usually what happens when the fat lady gets old. When they do that we will get more innovation, and less guess on what side of the mouth the shrimp is in!!:-)

I have been doing a lot with javascript (not real java). And I must say it's one powerful simple language. Of course hooked to a foxISAPI server I don't have to use [real] Java:-)
