It is based on classes I have taught.
The people who do well with it are either still writing 2.6 kind of apps, or working programmers who have never used Fox before. It is *not* geared as an introduction to programming.

If you need a tutorial right now, I would use it.
Actually, I do use it when I teach VFP classes.
The next version of the book that Burt Rosen and I are co-authoring should be a pretty good book.
If you are looking for a really great book on VFP, the "Hackers Guide" is a must and Marcia Atkins and Andy Kramek's books are great.
