Hi Kevin,

This sounds a lot like a bug we fixed for VFP 9. As a workaround, try placing an invisible Container in the "dead area" and passing through clicks to the parent Page. Not elegant, but it'll work <g>

>>>>>It is near the right edge of the form, but not all the way at the edge. Probably 50 pixels from the edge. The form is smaller than the max design area...
>>>>
>>>>I would make a copy of the form and start deleting visible controls one by one and check if unresponsive area still there. At the end you can use Class Browser, as Alan suggested, to see what left.
>>>
>>>
>>>More info....this area is on the first page of a page frame. On the 2nd and 3rd pages are list boxes. It appears the "dead" area on the first page is exactly the area of the vertical scroll bar on the list boxes on pages 2 & 3. Thes list boxes are intially disabled. It's like that scroll bar is bleeding through to the 1st page and making that area of the form disabled.
>>>
>>>However, once you click on page 2 or 3, then return to the first page, this area is no longer "dead".
>>
>>Where is the focus when it's dead? Also, was this a converted form from a previous version of Foxpro?
>
>The focus is on a text box on another area of the form. The "dead" area was not previously used. I just happened to add 2 drop down lists and it just happened that the drop down arrow of the lists landed in this area. The area expands more that just those arrows, but they just happen to have fallen into that area.

>Yes this has been upgraded. It was originally written in 5, upgraded to 6, then upgraded to 8 about a year ago.
>
>BTW, this area is "dead" in design mode and when running the form. And in both cases, once I have clicked on one of the other pages of the page frame then go back, this area is then active.
>
>I tried something else too. Like I said, on page 2 and 3 of the pageframe is a listbox of identical size and location, just on different pages. I took these 2 list boxes and shrunk them horizontally by the exact same amount. The dead area on page 1 moved with the movement of the list boxes.
