I don't like sports where the whole idea is to beat the sh** out of someone. Same reason I don't like kick boxing, ultimate fighting, etc.

Yes, fights do happen at hockey games, but it's not what the game is about.

And remember the words of Rodney Dangerfield...

"I went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out".
