I don't understand.
If ShowWindow = 2 then a form is modeless no matter the WindowType is (but can provide kind of modality through read events. ie: a login form).
If ShowWindow = 1 then you can have WindowType = 1 (modal).
Also I suggest you to include:

this.Show

in form.init.
