Or soccer as we call it here. It seems to be very popular among the very young like 5 thru 16 year olds, but then they drop off. Heck, even the pro-teams here cater to that very young demographic. Of course the people of histpanic origin like as well along with some Asians. There are plenty of soccer-moms in all our suburbs.
Soccer is one of those very slow and low scoring games that never caught on here real big.
