Hi Sam,

People will ridicule my main thought on this, but here goes anyways...

Look at what this says about the control the media has!!!

You can be sure that some people, right after the shooting, were telling media types that there was no heavy winter overcoat, that there was no running from declared police, etc.
Yet here we are, almost a full month later, that such information is finally published.

The media shows itself yet again to have lost its way and to be subservient to interests - primarily government/enforcement - rather than truth, accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

I said before that the media breathed a collective sigh of relief when Time Inc. decided to name names in the 'who exposed Plame' grand jury proceedings. Reporters themselves were very POed, but media management was overjoyed because this would mean less chances to do risky exposees of governmental misdeeds. Makes for a much more stable/happy/profitable corporation!

What's sad is that it also appears that the British media is subject to the same foibles now as their North American counterparts have been living for quite some time now. EVEN THE BBC?!?!?!?!

>The man shot by the London police was not struggling nor desobeying and not wearing a heavy "bulky" coat, according to a footage.

>They shot him 8 times....
>Are the London police getting away with this murder?
